7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Miss Bishop Contest, High School Auditorium. Admission.
Winner will reign over activities of the Centennial Celebration.
12:00 Noon Church bells peal to initiate the celebration.

Centennial Museum - New Bishop High School. Staged by
volunteers. General store in museum. Novelties and memorabilia will
be available, plus a Hospitality Center which will provide information
about the weekend acitivties and also welcome visitors.

numerous arts & crafts, vendor booths, little league baseball
games and much more.

Time Capsules - 1960 capsule opening & burying of new one to be
opened in year 2060 - City Park

Final judging of beard-growing contest, awards to oldest man and
woman in continuous residence in Bishop, award to person travelling
furthest distance to attend celebration.

“One Hundred Years of Religious Heritage in Bishop”

picnics, fellowship.
